PalPay signed an agreement with the Jerusalem District Electricity Company to provide bill paymanetservices through 5,000 Point of Sale stations

 

 

  

PalPay and the Jerusalem District Electricity Company (JDEC) signed an agreement to provide electricity bill payment services for the Company's users through PalPay, in a ceremony that took place on February 4th, 2012 in Ramallah. The subscribers of JDEC will be able to pay their bills through more than 5,000Point of Sale (POS) stations located in supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, pharmacies and other shops.
 
PalPay seeks to encourage all service providers, including telecommunications, electricity, water and internet service providers to join the companies that use the PalPay electronic payment solutions. Within the next few years, the number of POS's is expected to reach 10,000 spread all over the country. PalPay will also soon enable customers to pay their utility bills and top up their mobile phones using their mobiles and PCs.
 
Bank of Palestine founded PalPay in 2011 in cooperation with PCNC solutions, with the aim of providing customers in Palestine with innovative electronic payment and top-up solutions.
