Monday, October 10, 2011, BoP opened a new branch in Palestine Technical University - Khadoorie in Tulkarem. The opening celebration was attended by Mr. Hashim Shawa, Chairman & G.M. of BoP, along with a large number of local dignitaries, businessmen, and academics in Tulkarem and Khadoorie University.
Opening this branch brings the number of BoP’s branches and sub-branches to 46 branch spread across the country. The bank’s expanding plan aims to deliver BoP’s services to all of its customers wherever they are.
Mr. Shawa said ‘ we are proud of building the largest banking network in Palestine, adding that opening this branch is part of BOP’s success and achievements. This is part of the Chairmen’s strategic decision to expand in all the Palestinian provinces to provide the best banking services to citizens ’.
BoP has more than a thousand employees serving more than half a million customers.
Mr. Shawa added that 2011 has been a monumental year for BoP, a year in which we have achieved many notable milestones and successes; those successes were crowned by the Euromoney Award for Excellence for Best Bank in Palestine – 2011.
