As part of its ongoing humanitarian relief in favor of people in the Gaza Strip, Bank of Palestine has implemented several humanitarian and relief interventions for our people in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. These activities took place in partnership with the Association Atfal-Palestine.
Bank of Palestine is continuing its humanitarian services and contributions to the people in the Gaza Strip through the implementation of the new set of relief and humanitarian interventions for hundreds of displaced families in shelters in northern Gaza, which also faces the most extreme and dire humanitarian and health conditions due to war.
These include, among many new interventions by the bank within the framework of continuing Relief Bridge to enable our people in Gaza, whom it has stood with since the first day of this war: food parcel distributions amounting to hundreds, securing water for proper human consumption, and winter equipment for the Jabalia area's displaced families in northern Gaza in partnership with Atfal Palestine Association, especially with winter drawing near.
Bank of Palestine said that since the first day of the war on our people in the Gaza Strip, its humanitarian and relief operations have never stopped. It added that these contributions are part of its relief and humanitarian bridge enacted by several partners, both local and international. This made it clear that such contributions come under its social and humanitarian role towards our people, to enhance the resilience of our people in the Strip to confront bitter living conditions. The bank emphasized its commitment to continuing such efforts, supporting our people in Gaza, and contributing to meeting all their needs until they can overcome their humanitarian crisis, wishing that this war would end as soon as possible.
This is the twenty-ninth intervention by the continuous relief bridge since the beginning of the war, especially with the acute shortage of all emergency needs in the northern part of the Strip, and the loss of life essentials in Gaza due to the war.
It is worth mentioning that, since the start of the war, Bank of Palestine Group continued its humanitarian interventions through several local and international institutions to support our affected people and displaced families, including the launch of a program to care for 20,000 orphans in Gaza in partnership with the Welfare Association. It also distributed a thousand hot meals, food parcels, bottled water, and hygiene kits to thousands of displaced persons, in addition to winter supplies for families and children. Financial assistance was also offered to the patients from Gaza currently being treated in hospitals in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and Jordan, while various recreational activities were conducted in shelters for women and children, along with psychological support
