Loans for Financing People with Disabilities

In partnership with the Ministry of Labor and the Sustainability Fund of the Palestinian Monetary Authority, Bank of Palestine initiated the launch of a financial portfolio in the amount of one million US dollars, intending to provide facilitated financing products for micro-enterprises for people with disabilities. This initiative stems from the Bank’s strategy to promote the principle of sustainability and achieve financial inclusion.

Program Advantages

Loans are provided for various economic sectors.

Project financing for capital, operational costs, or the project’s fixed assets.

Financing is in USD.

  • The grace period is up to 12 months, and loans are paid after a maximum of 48 months.
  • Total maximum financing of $10,000.
  • Financing up to 100%.
  • Interest and commission-free financing.
  • Age Group: any disabled citizen between 22-45 years.

Application Terms and Conditions

  • The beneficiary has the ability to manage a micro-enterprise.
  • The project borrower (in terms of the current project) should not have outstanding financial installments.
  • The applicant should not be a beneficiary from other sources or the owner of investments and real estate or a recipient of regular monthly incomes.
  • The applicant should be registered in the Palestinian Labor Market Information System (www.lmis.pna.ps).
  • The disability rate should not be less than 15%, based on a medical report from a physician approved by the Ministry of Health.
