Bank of Palestine and Al Nayzak initiative in Jerusalem signed a creative agreement to promote entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation among youth and children across the Palestinian cities and villages. The agreement was signed at Bank of Palestine headquarters in the city of Ramallah, in the presence of Mr. Rushdi Ghalayini, the General Director of Bank of Palestine, Engineer Aref Husseini, the Chairman of Al Nayzak, and several officials from both sides.
Based on the agreement, both parties shall participate in the implementation of several developmental projects for promoting and supporting innovation and creativity among Palestinian youth and children, including educational and technological innovation and scientific entrepreneurship. The project also aims to promote the strategic partnership between Bank of Palestine and Al Nayzak, consolidate efforts to support education, creativity, knowledge, expertise and technological skills, use modern tools to design solutions, discover modern creative energies, and create an aware generation in a world that is witnessing all things new at a very fast pace.
Mr. Rushdi Ghalayini, the General Director of Bank of Palestine, expressed pride in the partnership between Al Nayzak and Bank of Palestine, which managed to record great achievements in a matter of few years. Ghalayini pointed out that the objectives of Al Nayzak form part of the Bank’s strategy to develop educational tools, promote constructive thinking and ideas and release the hidden creative energies of youth. He added that “over the years, Palestine proved to be a giving country, filled with innovative and creative people waiting to be discovered.” He stressed that the project also forms part of the bank’s vision to improve the knowledge of upcoming generations and encourage them to think about new solutions for life and daily practices, especially in the education, economic and social fields, to name a few.
Engineer Aref Husseini, the Chairman of Al Nayzak, praised the strategic partnership with Bank of Palestine, which aims to support innovation in Palestine. He stressed the importance of promoting the efforts of the various sectors to provide Palestinian youth a space to create and innovate in the fields of technology and scientific knowledge. Husseini also expressed his gratitude towards Bank of Palestine and praised the pioneering role it plays as a national example that reflects the real and deep relationship between private sector organizations and civil society.
