Bank of Palestine announces that some of its branches and offices will be open on Saturdays until the end of the year

Bank of Palestine announced its initiative to open the Bank’s branches and offices on Saturdays until the end of 2015. This initiative aims to provide banking services and introduce the customers to the details of the campaign launched by the Bank to support and finance small and medium-sized enterprises, in which the Bank dedicated a portfolio in the value of 200 million dollars for this purpose; in order to contribute to the stimulation of the national economy and enable its recovery under the difficult economic conditions in our country.

Thirty six of the Bank’s branches and offices distributed in all Palestinian governorates and areas were equipped to open on Saturdays, from 10:00AM until 1:30PM, to continue to provide their services on Saturdays until the end of this year.

This initiative aims to introduce the details of the campaign for supporting and financing small and medium-sized enterprises to the citizens and customers; it will also contribute in the facilitation of the work of merchants, employees and workers, and enable them to complete their financial and banking transactions, especially that Saturdays are often an official holiday.  This will enable the Bank to increase its receiving capacity to provide services to the largest number of citizens.

The opening of the Bank’s branches will also contribute in enabling the Palestinian economy to face the difficult political and economic condition, in addition to stimulating the economy and enhancing its ability to implement development projects; in addition to advancing the growth by executing financial transactions, import and export remittances and other transactions.
