BOP has announced the names of winners in the first week of the new marketing campaign launched recently to encourage customers to use plastic cards in their purchase and shopping operations. The winners are Amjad Samih Hamad from Jabalia; Wael Salem Qdeih from Khan Younis; Husam Mahmoud Jawaneh from Rimal; Hamed Abdelqader Kahlout from Jabalia; Bassam Mohammad Zaqqout from Alnasr; Suheir Ismail Odeh from Qalqilya; Mariana Anwar Arja from Bethlehem; Abdellatif Diya Khammash from Nablus; Hani Naji Abdelmasih from Bethlehem; Elias Zoughbi from Bethlehem.
As part of the campaign, BOP has also earmarked a high value winning prize of a Jeep Wrangler 2014 grand prize, which will be drawn at the end of the campaign, in addition to daily prizes of 47” LG LCD flat screen which will continue until 1 November 2014.
The campaign targets all current and new customers holding and using BOP cards in purchase and shopping operations at the supermarkets, shopping centers, clothing stores, restaurants, domestic electrical appliances stores, gas stations and others. Plastic cards include Visa Electron Card, Master Card, Visa Card, Cash Card and Easy Life Card. Customers who buy for the amount of USD 10 or its equivalent in other currencies will be eligible for the prize draw. The higher the amount of purchase is will increase the odds of winning. No commission is entailed.
Plastic cards issued by BOP are smart and safe, mitigating the risk of using and carrying cash all the time. The first comfortable installment card “Easy Life” was issued by BOP a few years back with the view of enabling customers to purchase their needs from shopping centers by way of commission or interest free easy installments. Now BOP has more than 5000 point of sales machines distributed in supermarkets, restaurants, service centers and other locations throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
BOP was the first bank to introduce the automated cashless sale system and credit cards service. In fact, BOP has the only center for issuing credit and debit cards in Palestine. It is also the first and sole source of all types of plastic cards since 1999.
