Bank of Palestine Celebrates Inauguration of New Branch in Qabatia, Jenin

In a special ceremony attended by Jenin Governor Major General Talal Dweikat, Bank of Palestine Assistant General Manager Mr Hani Nasser, Qabatia Deputy Mayor Dr Jamal Hanaishe, mayors and heads of Jenin village councils, businessmen/women, senior officials and representatives from private sector organizations, Bank of Palestine celebrated the inauguration of its new branch in Qabatia, Jenin, Thursday, 28 November 2013. The new branch in Qabatia adds to Bank of Palestine network of 48 branches and offices throughout the country providing high-quality banking and financial services to the public and customers efficiently.

In his opening speech Mr Nasser welcomed the guests and stated the expansion of Bank of Palestine throughout Palestine despite the difficult and bleak economic and political conditions reflects the bank’s determination and perseverance in overcoming all odds. He added the opening of the new branch is very special since Qabatia is an important historical city and has a distinguished geographical location. It is an important center of hectic commercial activity and therefore it is imperative that national organizations invest in it and undertake development projects in economic, social and cultural areas in the city.

For his part, Major General Dweikat congratulated Bank of Palestine management on opening the new branch indicating that Qabatia a historical and economic weight in Jenin district that merits the interest and attention of Bank of Palestine and other national organizations and companies. He extolled the bank’s efforts in national development and expressed hope the Bank of Palestine would open branches outside Palestine.

Within the same context, Qabatia Deputy Major Dr Hamaishe said a word on behalf of the Municipality thanking Bank of Palestine for its cooperation, services and support to in establishing a public garden as well as for its support to investment projects in Qabatia.
