BoP is preparing to launch Al-Bara’em Football Championship with the Ministry of Education and the Palestinian Football Association in middle schools in Gaza and the West Bank. The project will train children aged 10-14 years in football. For three months, 3000 students with the highest athletic skills and abilities will be chosen for the training, and later for the games that will qualify players to represent Palestine in Qatar Olympics in 2022.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Education, the Palestinian Football Association will implement and manage the project, which is fully sponsored by the Bank of Palestine.
This sponsorship is part of BoP’s contributions to the youth and sports sector in Palestine within the Bank’s commitment to CSR, which equates to 5% of its annual net profits.
