In line with its vision to promote and develop tourism in Palestine, Bank of Palestine (BoP) participated and sponsored several cultural, recreational and religious Christmas events in Bethlehem, Beit Jala, Ramallah and Jenin. Bank of Palestine, in sharing Christmas celebrations, put up several congratulatory banners around Bethlehem and participated in the Patriarch's reception as well as funding the Scout's parades during Christmas. The bank also distributed more than 600 gifts for children of needy families in Ramallah, Jenin and Bethlehem.
Hashim Shawa, Chairman and General Manager of BoP, congratulated the Palestinian people on the occasion of Christmas and the New Year and stressed that BoP's funding of touristic, cultural, and religious activities is an important part of the Bank's Corporate Social Responsibility.
