Mr. Hashim Shawa, Chairman and General Manager of Bank of Palestine visited The UNICEF Family center, which is funded by BOP and its partners. Mr. Shawa appraised the educational, social, and cultural activities provided by the center for children. During his visit, Mr. Shawa donated four PCs for the center’s computer lab.
Mr. Shawa clarified that this donation and support is part of BOP social responsibility. He said that BOP contributed to several institutions which care about health, educational and sport development. Moreover, many social, cultural and art activities and events were sponsored by the bank.
Bank of Palestine donated 250,000 US dollars to support Children of Gaza through family centers which are managed by UNICEF in Gaza Strip.
At the end of the visit, the center thanked Mr Hashim Shawa and BOP staff for their vital role as one of national institution which all Palestinians are proud of.
