On the Arab Orphan Day, BOP Donated USD 40,000 for the benefit of Alamal Institute for Orphans. This donation comes out of the Bank’s social responsibility.
On behalf of Mr. Hashim Shawa, Chairman and General Manager of BOP, Mr. Ihsan Shausha`a, Assistant General Manager for Foreign Relations, delivered the donation check to Mr. Baker Alkhozondar, Chairman of Alamal Institute.
Mr. Shausha`a, confirmed the vital and effective role of BOP in serving the Palestinian society; as BOP has supported many humanitarian and charity projects that helps people to overcome the burdens of life.
This contribution comes as a part of series of voluntary contributions made by Bank of Palestine over the last decades. It, also, reflects the desire of Mr. Hashim Shawa, to give special attention for those humanitarian institutions from a religious, national and humanitarian perspective.
