Bank of Palestine celebrated the opening of Abu Dis Branch on Thursday, 19 February 2009. Mr. Adnan Al Husseini, The Governor of Jerusalem, Dr. Jihad Al Wazer, Governor of the Palestine Monetary Authority, and Mr. Hashim Shawa, Chairman and General Manager of the Bank, along with a large number of business people and bankers were present at the opening ceremony.

Mr. Adnan Husseini, congratulated BoP staff and people of Abu Dis on this cheerful occasion. Mr. Shawa said that this new opening reflects BoP’s real desire to deliver its banking services for all the Palestinian people.
He also added that since its opening in 1960, BoP insisted to present the best services for its customers and to keep pace with all the technological developments.
