PMA Governor Dr. George Al Abed opened BoP.s new branch in selfit. The official ceremony took place on Sunday 26.11.2006 in the presence of the mayor, chairman of the board of directors, distinguished officials, local dignitaries and businessmen.

In his welcoming speech, Dr.Hani shawa chairman of the board stated that the bank.s policy of expansion aimed to reach all population centres enabling them to benefit from the bank.s services.

The selfit branch is the 28th branch of the bank.s network covering all Palestinian territories and stretching from Jenin in the north to Rafah in the south.
The PMA Governor stressed in his speech the importance of opening a new BoP branch and praised the high standard of services BoP gives the Palestinian population.

He added that the PMA works very closely with the banking sector to help the economy overcome the unfair sanctions imposed after the people excersised their democratic rights in the last elections.

Salfit.s mayor thanked both the BoP management and the PMA for their efforts in opening a branch of the first national bank known for its quality services.

At the end of the ceremony, the Public Relations and Marketing officer gave a brief presentation about the bank.
