Reopening the refurbished Dar Al Tifel Al Arabi nursery in Jerusalem with support from Bank of Palestine

Bank of Palestine made a financial contribution for the refurbishing of Dar Al Tifel Al Arabi nursery in Jerusalem. The opening ceremony was held in the presence of Mr. Amjad Abu Zahra, the Director of Bank of Palestine's branch in Dahyet Al Bareed, Mrs. Mahira Dajani, the Chairman of Dar Al Tifel Al Arabi Foundation, Ms. Wafa'a Jadallah Abu Diab, the Director of the nursery and kindergarten, and several members from the board of directors and educational board at the foundation. The refurbishment project entailed the rehabilitation of the nursery and equipping it with furniture and all necessary renovations, including a flooring that is suitable for kids to use and play on.

The bank's contribution falls in line with its corporate social responsibility endeavors and in harmony with its strategy to promote community work in the city of Jerusalem through a partnership with a group of Jerusalem-based organizations working in the fields of development, culture, education and sports. The bank established its presence in the city through the implementation of several projects in schools to promote the concept of entrepreneurship among students, as well as the promotion of cultural activities with the Yabous Cultural Center, the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music and other establishments.

On this occasion, Dar Al Tifel Al Arabi Foundation expressed its gratitude towards Bank of Palestine, represented by Mr. Hashim Al Shawa, the Chairman of Bank of Palestine Group, for this generous grant, pointing out other contributions made by the bank in previous years, such as the donation made for a project to rehabilitate a garden for children, sponsoring orphans from the foundation, and other initiatives.

It is important to mention that Bank of Palestine allocates approximately 5% of its annual profits to corporate social responsibility projects across Palestine, focusing its efforts on health, education, sports and other fields.
