In a ceremony held at its headquarters in Gaza, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian refugees thanked BoP for sponsoring UNRWA’s scout football team. Robert Turner, director of UNRWA Operations in Gaza, presented Alaa Al Redwan, Deputy Chairman and COO of BoP, with a certificate of appreciation from UNRWA.
The UNRWA team sponsored by BoP won first place in an international championship held in Norway, in which several teams were competing from countries around the world.
Alredwan assured the attendees that BoP will continue to support different sectors in Palestine, dedicating 5% of its annual profits to CSR, including sports and athletes with different activities such as Al-Bara’em Championship and others.
