BoP holds Ramadan iftars for orphans around Palestine

BoP organized several Ramadan iftars with orphaned children in several Palestinian cities in Gaza and the West Bank, including Nablus, Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Gaza. More than 700 orphans were invited to these iftars, which also included several entertainment shows and gifts for the children.

BoP’s employees participated in preparing the events and joined the children for iftar as part of their volunteer work and community engagement, which is highly encouraged at the Bank of Palestine.

Hani Naser, assistant General Manager for West Bank branches, explained that these iftars are part of BoP’s CSR and community engagement activities, which focus on poor and orphaned children in the Holy Month. Naser further noted that BoP has contributed to needy children in several ways, including the “My Future” initiative with the Welfare Association, which aims at helping orphans in Gaza.  BoP also launched “Al-Bayara” initiative to build 40 gardens and children’s playgrounds around Palestine.
