Bank of Palestine sponsored the 3-day Investment and Development Conference in Tulkarem, which was concluded yesterday in the presence of PM Salam Fayyad, Hashim Shawwa, Chairman and General Manager of BoP, in addition more than 400 Arab and foreign investors, and more than 400 Arab and Palestinians businessmen.
The conference, which is organized by Tulkarem's Municipality, aimed at attracting investors with productive investment projects to Tulkarem, in an effort to also create more job opportunities for new graduates. Several projects were studied and presented to the investors during the conference to show the positive impact on the municipality's economy and unemployment rate. Forty investment projects in different fields were studied and presented to the participants.
This sponsorship comes as part of Bank of Palestine's effort to enrich the national economic growth, and finding the best ways to draw the country's economic strategy. BoP also aims at encouraging businessmen and investors from abroad to invest in Palestine to support the country's economy and decrease the unemployment rates.
