Bank of Palestine provided its sponsorship for the participation of Al Bireh Football Academy Junior Team in the Esther Championship that is organized every year in the French city of Marseille. The Academy’s Junior Team consists of players born in 2006, who competed against other international teams, which total 32 teams from Europe and Africa.
Al Bireh Football Academy Junior Team managed to obtain 5th place in the Esther International Championship. The team was part of the first group of teams that included six teams, and managed to qualify for the finals after playing several games that resulted in victory, loss and a tie during the last part. The team demonstrated great spirits during the matches against other participating teams.
It is important to mention that Al Bireh Football Academy has entered its sixth season raising the slogan “pros from youth.” The Academy graduated hundreds of players who were trained in accordance with the most modern educational and technical sports methods. It is considered among the best academies with the ability to create distinguished players with qualifications that enable them to join the Palestinian national leagues. All players are trained under the supervision of several qualified trainers who obtained their certifications from the Asian and European football leagues.
