Bank of Palestine Contributes to Relief Efforts for Palestinian Refugees Affected by the Devastating Earthquake in Syria and Turkey, Through the Palestinian Red Crescent Society

Bank of Palestine participated in the relief of the Palestinian refugees in Syria and Turkey in the aftermath of a devastating earthquake by donating to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

16-2-2023: As part of its social responsibility, Bank of Palestine announced its contribution in cash and in-kind in support of Palestinian refugees through the disastrous earthquake that hit Syria and Turkey, for succoring Palestinians affected by this disaster through the efforts exerted by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

The rest of the money was earmarked to provide shelter for those whose homes were destroyed in the aggression and to purchase caravans, tents, and other relief tools which are much needed by the victims. This came upon a popular call from our people in Syria in particular. This will indeed ease the humanitarian crisis, with the help of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, which has already started its duties in this direction, in the framework of a scheme that embraces the provision of some necessary items, winter clothes, fuel, food, water, medicine, and more.

The bank assured that this contribution comes as an affirmation of its commitment to its community and national role towards our people in all areas of their presence, as it allocates a percentage of its annual profits for social responsibility and the support of sustainable development projects.
