Bank of Palestine Contributes to the Establishment of Graduate Studies and Research Laboratory at Palestine Polytechnic University in Bethlehem
Bank of Palestine contributed to the establishment of a graduate studies and research laboratory at Palestine Polytechnic University in Bethlehem, aimed at encouraging scientific research and the development of research projects to serve researchers, faculty members, and students in conducting their research and studies.
In this regard, Mahmoud Shawa, General Manager of Bank of Palestine, expressed his happiness in contributing to the creation of this scientific laboratory, which is part of the bank's belief in the importance of scientific research and its development in Palestinian universities. He added that this will contribute to meeting the needs of researchers by benefiting from the technologies of the new laboratory, affirming that this support reflects our vision and mission to advance and improve the education sector.
Shawa also emphasized that Bank of Palestine’s management is keen to enhance collaboration between the private sector and educational institutions as part of its strategy to sustain the education sector in Palestine and maintain its continuity. He highlighted that these institutions are a vital source for supplying the labor market with qualified and skilled human resources, capable of leadership. He commended the great efforts made by the administration of Palestine Polytechnic University to elevate its academic system, particularly in the field of scientific research and its development.
For his part, Dr. Emad Al-Zir, President of Palestine Polytechnic University, praised the contributions of Bank of Palestine and its important role in serving higher education in Palestine, especially through its contribution to the establishment of this laboratory, stressing the strategic relationship between the two parties.
