Bank of Palestine and Sbitany Co. for Electrical and Electronic Appliances signed an agreement to use EasyLife Payment Card with co-branding. The signing of the agreement ceremony took place at Bank of Palestine HQ in Ramallah on Tuesday, 21 May 2013. Chairman of the Board and General Manager of Bank of Palestine Mr Hashim Al-Shawa and Sbitany Co. General Manager Mr Akram Sbitany signed the agreement in the presence of Bank of Palestine Board Member Mr Maher Farah and Bank of Palestine Assistant Managers Mr Hani Nasser and Mrs Suzanne Khoury, in addition to Operations Director Mr Thomas Young and Second Deputy General Manager of Sbitany Co. Mr Omar Mazen as well as heads of departments and sections from both sides.
Pursuant to the agreement, Sbitany Co. will launch a marketing campaign encouraging its customers to hold EasyLife card which customers will be able to purchase their needs from Sbitany Co. Moreover, the company will guide its customers who do not hold EasyLife Card to get it from Bank of Palestine, and it will make special offers, provide incentives such as Cash Pack and give discounts to its customers.
Mr Al-Shawa pointed out the agreement will increase operations for both sides, create opportunities for cooperation and partnership and consolidate a new culture in the Palestinian society namely the use of plastic money in selling and buying processes.
For his part, Mr Mazen Sbitany highly valued the partnership between his company and the Bank of Palestine expressing pride in the agreement which will provide his company and Bank of Palestine a co-brand that reflects the level of cooperation and solid relation that brings them together.
